PACE side event surrogacyA conference on the practice of surrogacy was held on 10 October alongside the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Organised by members of the Italian Delegation, made up of several political groups, this event preceded the debates that led to the rejection of the recommendation proposed by the Belgian Senator Petra De Sutter (Socialist Group).

Family Values and their link to Economic Well-Being and Social Outcomes

To mark the 20th anniversary of the International Year of the Family, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in partnership with the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) organise a conference on « Family Values and their link to Economic Well-Being and Social Outcomes.» in Geneva, Switzerland on June 30 & July 1st 2014, at the United Nations. FAFCE's Secretary General will be one of the speakers on family issues and policy.
