The Forum of Catholic Inspired NGOs, created in 2007, gathers more than 100 non-governmental organisations that have consultative status with various intergovernmental institutions. This Forum is a place of dialogue and exchange among Catholic Inspired NGOs in order to provide strong Christian witness at the international level. The Forum is divided into several thematic groups: FAFCE, for example, is coordinating the “Family thematic group”, together with WUCWO.
In 2013, Pope Francis called for inclusion in Evangelii Gaudium: “in a culture which privileges dialogue as a form of encounter, it is time to devise a means for building consensus and agreement while seeking the goal of a just, responsive, and inclusive society.” (239)
The publication “Toward a more inclusive society” is the result of two years of work undertaken by the Forum. This document “shows, in reading the signs of the times, how much inclusion is a continuously evolving process to ensure that no one is left behind.”
